Peter Lien - Founder

Peter Lien founded Numerical Cents in March 2020 to help small business owners make sense of their numbers. Peter understood the importance of properly and timely maintained books, having run his own successful retail business for many years. Numerical Cents specializes in new business setup, prior period cleanup, monthly reconciliations, and preparing financial statements.

After graduating from the University of California, Berkeley in 1996 with a BS degree in Accounting and Finance, Peter worked at one of the Big 6 firms at the time, Deloitte & Touche for three years in the Auditing and Accounting Advisory department. He and two college classmates started their retail furniture business in 1999, which they operated until 2020.
